from former Bull Brad Tickle

The family is pretty good now. My boy Charlie had to have grommets fitted in April, his ears had fluid on them rendering him virtually deaf. The operation was a success instantly and he is now a new boy which we are over the moon about. My little girl Olivia is 18 months old and is powering on with no problems. Lerryn is good also, dealing with pressures of raising little kids incredibly well. Please pass on my regards to all the guys at the club and tell Jonno that I haven”t got a Bulls Roar for a while. I have attached my current 2 favourite photos of the kids. Cheers. Regards, Brad Tickle

from former Bull Marcus "Basher" Ashcroft

Marcus "Basher" Ashcroft here. Played with Adrian "Romper Stomper" Costello, Frysie, Scotty, Ted, Joe et al. along with a couple of other Faminco guys Tim Brown and Ian Anderson in 1998. Might have been partially responsible for the Faminco Bulls sponsorship period…but still not clear on that! Thanks to the Bullies for the instruction (and actually pretty much everyone, including wives & girlfriends, and the other sides as I knew NOTHING), I left and played for a uni side in England when I did my Masters…then Barclays Bank hired me on the condition that I play for the Bank's union side! It served me well…I even got mixed up with a group in New York City, Old Blue RFC, but never played due to 2 repaired shoulders and restyled knee! Now occupying a desk in Toronto, Canada.

Llooks like a few of us have settled down now..Ii've got two boys, Jake who just turned 3 yesterday...likely a winger, and Charlie 14 months...with no doubt he'll be in the Front 3 as he leads with his head!

I was trying to track down some old mates and found the site. Cheers, Bash

from former Bull Peter (Frysie) Fry

G'day Bulls. Checking out the web site and came across this page for past members. Brilliant idea. I often get on the site to see how things are going. I'm excited to see that Juniors are so strong. I kept on playing when we moved down to NSW 6 years ago and was lucky enough to captain my side to grand final win as well as a berth in the Rep side few years ago. I have now hung up the boots because of a knee reconstruction (I can hear Joe Vitelli cursing me). I was nearly reduced to tears after being told of the win for the Johnny Fry and all I wanted to do was get on the plane and join the fun. Jayne and I have started a family down here on the farm with a daughter that is 2. Keep up the good work and look forward to reading from more past members. Go The Bulls!!

from former Bull Adrian (Stomper) Costello

Hey Bulls, Was just checking the site out to see how things are going for the year. Today just signed Fin up for Perth Bayswater Under 6er's. Loch is in under 13's and plays in the centres, but yes he can only move upwards to the front row. All the best for the 2008 season. Attached is a shot of the Costello Clan down at the Swan River.

from former Bull Dan Cook

Its great to see the mighty Bulls are still powering along. Its been a while since I played for the team but miss it every day. I am currently based in Brisbane working for a Recruitment Agency, yes that's right Cooky wears a suit every day of the working week. I have recently married and only just returned from Thailand. I am currently having some health problems and ongoing surgery for blood clots on the lungs. I wish The Bulls all the best for 2008. from former Bull Wes Warner

Hi all Like Beamer, I too google the Bulls and saw the site. I played for the Bulls from 91-95. I see that you guys are training from the 8th. That bloody heat is something I haven't forgotten. After leaving CT I went to Cairns and coached the Teachers Smithfield team for a year and bit (made it to the semis :) ) I am now in Brisbane teaching at Nudgee College and I have occasionally seen Joe Vitali's name pop up in the knackered bulls. Funnily enough I think I played with the endurance of a knackered bull when I was 24. Anyway it is good to see the Bulls are still there and going strong. cheers Wes Warner wicked_wes@mac.com

from former Bull Mark Bilenki

from former Bull Brett Scott

I don't know if you remember me, I had the pleasure of playing with you some time ago along with the likes of Paul Nail, Geoff Lawlor, Col Fenlon, Joe Vitelli, Joe Siui, Greg Smith, Lauchy McLennan along with many more too numerous to name though no less remembered, under the friendly direction of Bob Armstrong. You probably remember me as 'Beamer' the not so talented and annoying scrum half, fly half, wing come fullback. I found myself reminiscing and googled the Towers Bulls and found the site, so nice to hear the club is really going strong. However while reading the Bulls Roar i was very saddend to come across the John Fry memorial match as I was unaware of his passing, could you give me some details as to what happened? Since leaving the Towers I have spent time in the Whitsunday's where I played for the Raiders for 3 seasons, Captained superyachts in Miami USA got married to my beautiful wife Julie, have a little girl called Mackenzie Rose and another on the way. We now reside in Sydney where I manage and captain yachts for a wonderful family. Please say hello to anyone who you think may remember me and share my email address with them. (brettscott7@hotmail.com)

Warm regards and fond memories Brett Scott
